Slow Cinemas chart (Discursions in Time)

 

Line up of Joshua Polanski's Guided Film Club 2026 mapped out in a "Slow Cinemas" chart with axis from Slower to Slow and axis from Quiet to Talkative. The Contemplative Cinema occupies the lower left quadrant (much slower and practically without dialogue), while the Baltic Poetic Documentary occupies the right half (with quick edit and sometimes voice over commentary), without overlapping. Outside the Slow Cinemas circle are Avant Garde experiments.
