David Bordwell on Santantango (from his new blog)
Who cites Jonathan Rosenbaum's article on Bela Tarr, The melancholy of resistance (at Kinoeye), Vancouver program notes, also at Movie Martyr

An interesting opportunity to compare how Tarr's films are described and reviewed by different critics.

Lastly, Bordwell notes Santantango will be released on DVD on November, and Angelopoulos' Weeping Widow on December, at Facets

Hi, i'm just discovering your wonderful site. Just to inform that i've recently updated the wikipedia page (french version only for now, sorry) for SHARUNAS BARTAS, including a good starting point of refererences about his work. If these info could be transformed into a page in the CCC AUTEURS LINKS section, it would be great :)
